LOWER RUM RIVER WATERSHED MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION • MARCH 21, 1996 CALL TO ORDER Chairman Steve Jankowski called the meeting to order at 8:34 a.m. in the Committee Room of Anoka City Hall. ROLL CALL Voting members present were Steve Jankowski, Ramsey; Todd Haas, Andover; Ben Ferguson, Coon Rapids; and John Weaver, Anoka. Also present was Ray Schultz, Anoka Alternate; Tim Knutson, Deputy Treasurer; and Mark Lobermeier, SEH. CONSIDERATION OF THE MINUTES Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Ferguson, to approve the February 15, 1996 regular • meeting minutes, as submitted. Vote: 3 ayes, 0 nays, l present (Ferguson). Motion carried. Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Haas, to approve the February 22, 1996 Public Input meeting minutes, correcting page one to reflect the meeting was called to order by Vice Chairman John Weaver, the second to the last paragraph to indicate "which is larger in size", and the last page to indicate Andover charges 25 cents a sheet. Vote: 3 ayes, 0 nays, l present (Jankowski). Motion tamed. TREASURER'S REPORT Knutson presented the Treasurer's Report for the period ending February 29, 1996. Account balances for the period were: Checking, $52,075.02; less permit account balance of ($10,417.26), for a total available balance of $41,657.76. He noted one permit for 1996 has been received as well as dues from Andover, Anoka and Ramsey. Motion was made by Ferguson, seconded by Weaver, to accept the Treasurer's Report for the period ending February 29, 1996. Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. Preliminary Audit Review Knutson presented a copy of the preliminary audit of financial statements for years ended January 31, • 1996 and 1995, as prepazed by Runbeck & Associates. He noted the positive net balance of $33,767 and that 23 permits were received in 1995. Knutson advised the final audit will be completed by the May, 1996 meeting.
