<br />LOWER RUM RIVER WATERSHED MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION <br />• MARCH 21, 1996 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairman Steve Jankowski called the meeting to order at 8:34 a.m. in the Committee Room of Anoka <br />City Hall. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Voting members present were Steve Jankowski, Ramsey; Todd Haas, Andover; Ben Ferguson, Coon <br />Rapids; and John Weaver, Anoka. <br />Also present was Ray Schultz, Anoka Alternate; Tim Knutson, Deputy Treasurer; and Mark <br />Lobermeier, SEH. <br />CONSIDERATION OF THE MINUTES <br />Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Ferguson, to approve the February 15, 1996 regular <br />• meeting minutes, as submitted. Vote: 3 ayes, 0 nays, l present (Ferguson). Motion carried. <br />Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Haas, to approve the February 22, 1996 Public <br />Input meeting minutes, correcting page one to reflect the meeting was called to order by Vice <br />Chairman John Weaver, the second to the last paragraph to indicate "which is larger in size", <br />and the last page to indicate Andover charges 25 cents a sheet. Vote: 3 ayes, 0 nays, l present <br />(Jankowski). Motion tamed. <br />TREASURER'S REPORT <br />Knutson presented the Treasurer's Report for the period ending February 29, 1996. Account balances <br />for the period were: Checking, $52,075.02; less permit account balance of ($10,417.26), for a total <br />available balance of $41,657.76. He noted one permit for 1996 has been received as well as dues <br />from Andover, Anoka and Ramsey. <br />Motion was made by Ferguson, seconded by Weaver, to accept the Treasurer's Report for the <br />period ending February 29, 1996. Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. <br />Preliminary Audit Review <br />Knutson presented a copy of the preliminary audit of financial statements for years ended January 31, <br />• 1996 and 1995, as prepazed by Runbeck & Associates. He noted the positive net balance of $33,767 <br />and that 23 permits were received in 1995. Knutson advised the final audit will be completed by the <br />May, 1996 meeting. <br />
