LRRWMO Worksession Meeting Minutes
November 20, 1997
Page 2
Weaver explained that due to the lack of a quorum, formal action cannot be taken.
Mr. Eoloff advised that Bob Obermeyer has explained that because of the notification requirements,
this permit will be considered at the December 18, 1997 meeting. Until that time, the notification and
comment period will take place.
No action needed until the December 18,1997 meeting after comment period.
LRRWMO Alternate Appointments
Weaver commented on the need for all cities to have an appointed alternate to assure quorum
attendance. It was noted that the Ramsey alternate is no longer available.
Weaver announced that Ray Schultz will be retiring on December 27, 1997. Ferguson added that Bill
Ottensmann's last day as the Coon Rapids City Engineer will be December 31, 1997.
•
Weaver extended his appreciation to Schultz for providing his expert advise to the LRRWMO. He •
asked if consideration had been given to appointing another alternate once Schultz retires.
Schultz stated he would consider it an honor to serve as a volunteer representative for the City of
Anoka after his retirement.
It was noted that Coon Rapids will also need to appoint an alternate after Ottensmann's retirement.
Ferguson stated he will talk with Ottensmann about who should be appointed as the alternate.
Weaver requested that notification be sent to all cities to remind them of the need for appointment.
ADJOURNMENT
Weaver declazed the meeting adjourned at 9:08 a.m.
Respectfully submitted,
Cazla Wirth
Administrative Secretary
