LRRWMO Meeting Minutes <br />June 19, 1997 <br />Page 2 <br />Motion was made by Ferguson, seconded by Weaver, to authorize payment to Timesaver for <br />$343.95, Barr Engineering for $569.00, ABC Newspapers for $35.34 and the City of Anoka for <br />$93.98. Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. <br />WCA Grant Reimbursement Requests <br />Jankowski noted Knutson's request to members to submit their reimbursement requests for the WCA <br />Grant. <br />CONSIDER COMMUNICATIONS <br />Review Corre~ondence in Chair's Folder <br />Jankowski reviewed the correspondence and notices contained in the Chair's Folder. <br />Cease and Desist Order 4390 <br /> <br />Jankowski advised he contacted the Conservation District and determined this property is located in • <br />Ramsey, Fox Knoll Addition, involving a very minor amount of fill to construct a trail between two <br />subdivisions. At the time the Cease and Desist Order was issued, the old diminuous rules were in <br />effect. Now the new diminuous rules became effective, so Ramsey needs to respond to indicate the <br />azea involved in the filling is not a shoreland area and the fill area is under 5,000 squaze feet. <br />Haas noted this property owner must still make application to the LRRWMO for the filing. <br />Jankowski agreed. <br />DNR Water Appropriation Permit <br />Weaver noted this work is related to the Hennepin County (Champlin) side of the bridge. <br />No objection indicated. <br />Letter from Minnesota Community Education Association <br />The Administrative Secretary advised that she contacted the Minnesota Community Education <br />Association, as directed at the last meeting, to request an annual report and additional information <br />regazding other agency donations, sponsors, how funds are spent, etc. Several days later, a letter was <br />received from them withdrawing their request for funding. <br />DNR Review and Comments -Groundwater Appropriation Permit • <br />Schultz advised this involves the Tower Pond Addition. Jankowski reviewed the specifics of the <br />request for a dewatering permit. <br />
