4. <br />• LRRWMO Meeting Minutes - 2nd Generation Watershed Plan Public Hearing <br />May 21, 1997 <br />Page 3 <br />Jankowski agreed the LRRWMO is responsible to assure the conditions of the permit are complied <br />with. <br />Ms. Dehn stated they would like their property to be considered in the LRRWMO plan as <br />agriculturally sensitive. <br />Mr. Dehn asked who should be contacted regarding ditch maintenance. Haas suggested the Anoka <br />County highway Department should be contacted and noted there may be a need for an exemption <br />from the LRRWMO if the work is occumng in the wetland area. <br />There being no further comments, Jankowski entertained a motion to close the public hearing. <br />Motion was made by Haas, seconded by Ferguson, to close the public hearing at 7:30 p.m. <br />Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br />• With regard to submittal of the LRRWMO response to agency comments, Lobermeier advised he <br />requested an extension from BWSR based on rationale the LRRWMO wanted to receive comments <br />from tonight's public hearing prior to submittal. He stated he will provide the agency response <br />comments by the first week in June for review by the LRRWMO. The response can then be acted <br />on at the June 19, 1997 meeting. Then SEH will provide Plan amendments back to State agencies <br />for review. They have 45 days to recomment and BWSR will be provided with the final Plan <br />document. <br />Jankowski stated it appears the State agency comments are suggestions to make the Plan more <br />effective. <br />Jankowski announced the next regular meeting of the LRRWMO will be on June 19, 1997, at 8:30 <br />a.m., at the Anoka City Hall. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />A motion was made by Zastrow, seconded by Ferguson, to adjourn the meeting.
