• LOWER RUM RIVER WATERSHED MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION <br />MAY 15, 1997 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chair Jankowski called the meeting to order at 8:34 a.m. in the Committee Room of Anoka City Hall. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Voting members present were Steve Jankowski, Ramsey; Todd Haas, Andover; Ben Ferguson, Coon <br />Rapids; and John Weaver, Anoka. <br />Also present were Ray Schultz, Anoka Alternate; and Jim Knutson, Deputy Treasurer. <br />APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES <br />Motion was made by Haas seconded by Weaver to approve the April 17,1997 regular meeting <br />minutes as presented. Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. <br />• FINANCE MATTERS <br />Treasurer's Report <br />Knutson presented the Treasurer's Statement of Cash Receipts and Disbursements and the Treasurer's <br />Report for the period ending Apri130, 1997. Account balances for the period were: Checking, <br />$63,537.94; less permit account balance of ($7,324.47), for a total balance of $56,213.47. <br />Knutson noted the Administrative costs are larger than in past months due to Obermeyer attending <br />the meeting and review of meeting packets by the attorney; however, Administrative remains within <br />budget. <br />Weaver asked if it is possible to address the cost of the attorney reviewing the meeting packet and <br />meeting minutes. Knutson explained that in previous years, a quarterly or semi-annual invoice was <br />submitted so the actual amount may be the same by the end of the year. <br />Jankowski noted that there was also review costs due to the Plan update and Joint Powers Agreement <br />issues. <br />Motion was made by Weaver seconded by Ferguson to accept the Treasurer's Report for the <br />period ending April 30,1997. Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. <br />Payment of Bills <br />Knutson presented the payment of bills for Timesaver for $333.10, Barr Engineering for $116.50, <br />(administrative $71 for one hour of meeting attendance), SEH for $1,000.00 (retainage), and Bruce <br />Siegfried, CPA (annual audit) for $750.00. <br />
