The Uniform Act and implementing regulations are
intended to establish a means of providing relocation assistance so
that a few individuals do not suffer disproportionate injuries as a
result of programs designed for the benefit of the public as a whole.
This plan shows the needs of the individuals, families and
businesses who would be displaced. It shows the availabilities of
decent, safe and sanitary housing which is currently available on the
public market as comparable replacement housing.
The firm of Federal -State Relocation Consulting Services, Inc.,
is a private agency having an established organization that has
adequate qualified relocation professionals capable of administering
and implementing the relocation program for the project. This firm
would be responsible for implementing the regulations in accordance
with the provisions of the Uniform Relocation Assitance and Real
Properties Acquisition Policies Act of 1970 as amended and currently
in effect.
