f
• Mr. Larry Koshak, P.E.
v December 12, 1983
Page Two
As in all of our past airport projects, we believe the airport should serve
the Community and not present an undue burden. As such, our approach typically
reflects an equitable balance of sound aviation design standards, environmental
concerns, aesthetics and economic considerations.
Members of the firm are active participants in a number of state aviation
associations, as well as the American Association of Airport Executives, and
the Aviation Consultants Council. In addition, staff .members continue to
keep abreast of the 'state-of-the-art' by attending and/or speaking at
appropriate seminars.
RBA is a Subchapter S Corportation with ownership confined only to persons
active in the company. RBA has remained headquartered in Chicago since its
founding in 1946 and has a total staff of 30. The RBA Minneapolis office
was established March 1, 1976 and has five professionals plus drafting and
secretarial services.
Our work experience has afforded us the opportunity to become thoroughly
familiar with the various agency procedures and personnel involved. In
addition to the City, this project will require coordination with FAA,
Mn/DOT, Metropolitan Council, and MAC.
At this point, we anticipate substantial participation by Martin Warskow,
Vice-President of RBA and myself. I have included resumes for each of us
along with selected descriptions of related projects. Additional staff can
be made available as necessary. .
We are looking forward to working with you and the City of Ramsey on this
project. If we can be of additional service, please contact either Marty
or myself.
Sincerely,
RALPH BURKE ASSOCIATES
rland Otto
0 fice Manager
