Intrasystem diversion (requiring a 1,000-foot long mnway extension at Lake <br />Elmo) <br />These improvements aze outlined in the following sections. A summary of the benefits that <br />each improvement will bring to the reliever system is also provided. <br />(1) Additions ~f a Parallel Runway/,Taxiway and Tower <br />Anoka County-Blaine Airport is projected to have the greatest growth with <br />regazd to the number of annual aircraft operations. Without capacity enhancements, <br />Anoka County-Blaine is projected to be the most overburdened airport in the reliever <br />system, with demand at this airport reaching 137 percent of available capacity. <br />Average delay per aircraft operation could reach 15 minutes by the_end of the <br />planning period. <br />IV-58 <br />
