SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT 4/3/87 <br />FOR PHASE I <br />TO BASIC AGREEMENT FOR <br />ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR <br />AIRPORT IMPROVEMENTS <br />AT GATEWAY NORTH INDUSTRIAL AIRPORT <br />CITY OF RAMSEY AND <br />HAKANSON ANDERSON ASSOCIATES, INC. <br />The Basic Agreement states the Sponsor's intent to contract for cer- <br />tain work on Phases I through VII for airport improvements and esta- <br />blishes basic terms and conditions for such contracted work. <br />This supplemental agreement for consultant engineering and planning <br />services for ~ase I 's an 'ntegral part of the aforesaid basic agree- <br />ment dated /7~` ~ , 1987. <br />WHEREAS, the Sponsor proposes to make improvements at the GATEWAY <br />NORTH INDUSTRIAL AIRPORT, an Environment Assessment Report and a <br />relocation plan are required in order to determine the impacts and <br />mitigative measures and to develop necessary documentation for <br />acquisition of the airport, <br />WHEREAS, the Sponsor intends to contract for Phase I engineering and <br />planning services for the preparation of the environmental assessment, <br />relocation plan, survey work, preliminary engineering report and pre- <br />application assistance for land acquisition, <br />WHEREAS, this supplemental agreement outlines the scope of services, <br />basis of cost, and schedule for Phase I services, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS MUTUALLY COVENANTED AND AGREED AS FOLLOWS: <br />I. The Engineer agrees to furnish and perform the various <br />professional engineering services required for this phase of the <br />project as follows: <br />A. Coordinate the environmental assessment, relocation plan, and <br />assistance with preapplication work with the Sponsor, Mn/DOT, <br />FAA, State and regional clearinghouses, and review agencies as <br />appropriate. <br />B. Conduct the environmental assessment in accordance with <br />Federal, State and local laws and in accordance with FAA <br />Orders 1050.1c and 5050.4 as appropriate. <br />C. Provide 55 copies of the draft and addendum environmental <br />assessment reports for distribution to review agencies, the <br />sponsor and the public. The draft EIAR shall be available for <br />public review at least 3o days prior to the public hearing. <br />
