Although lakes, reservoirs, <br />rivers, and streams may be appropriate for inclusion <br />within the airport's boundaries, especially from the <br />standpoints of noise or Rood control, care should be <br />taken to avoid those water bodies which have in the <br />past attracted large numbers of waterfowl. Dumps <br />and landfills which may attract birds should also be <br />avoided. <br />Activity or facility <br />The following table is a partial listing of activities <br />and facilities essential or desirable for airport opera- <br />tions. Also shown are those activities requiring direct <br />access to the airport or to the landing area.
