(2) The interest differential payment and in- cidental payment will be determined by the same method as described in paragraph 113a (2) and (3). c. Rental of a Mobile Home and Site. An owner -occupant eligible for a replacement housing payment under guides described in paragraph 92a, but elects to rent a replacement mobile home and site is eligible for a rental supplement not to exceed $4,000 for a period of 4 years. The payment would be 48 times the monthly difference between the economic rent of the owner's acquired dwelling and the lesser of: (1) The actual rent paid for the replacement mobile home and site; or (2) The amount the Sponsor has determined as necessary to rent a comparable dwelling. 115. REPLACEMENT HOUSING PAY- MENTS FOR OWNER -OCCUPANTS OF MOBILE HOMES OF 90 DAYS BUT LESS THAN 180 DAYS. a. Optional Payments. A displaced owner who has occupied the mobile home from which displace- ment occurs, for 90 days but less than 180 con- secutive days immediately before the initiation of negotiations for the property or the issuance of a written notice of intent to acquire the property by a definite date, and who is otherwise eligible under guides described in paragraph 94a is eligible for an amount not to exceed $4,000: (1) To enable such displaced person to make a down payment on the purchase of replace- ment housing in accordance with the guides described in subparagraphs 'b(1), c(I),and d (1) below and reimburse him for the ac- tual expenses incident to such purchase; or (2) If the displaced person elects to rent, a rent supplement computed in the manner de- scribed in paragraphs b(2), c(2), and d(2) below. Such payments are to be computed and disbursed in accordance with the prin- ciples outlined in paragraph 96 b, c, and d. b. Acquisition of Mobile Home and Site. The owner -occupant may be reimbursed according to the following: (1) If the owner purchases a replacement dwell- ing, the replacement housing payment will be determined in accordance with the meth- ods described in paragraph 94b except that the amount of the downpayment will be 68 determined by the Spon ;or as the amount required as a downpayment on the purchase of a comparable mobile home and site. (2) If the owner elects to rent, the rent sup- plement will be 48 timesthe monthly dif- ference between the ecoI �iomic rent of the acquired mobile home anI site and the lesser of: (a) The actual rent p 'd for the replace- ment mobile home and site; or (b) The amount the Sponsor has deter- mined as necessary to rent a compa- rable mobile home and site. c. Acquisition of Site Only. Upon acquisition of the site but not the mobile home also owned and occupied by the owner of such site, the following op- tional payments may be made: (1) If the owner purchases conventional replace- ment housing or a site to which the mobile home is moved, the re )lacement housing payment will be an amount computed in ac- cordance with the guide described in para- graph 94b, except that a amount of the downpayment will be etermined by the Sponsor asthe amount required as a down - payment on the purchase of a comparable mobile home site. (a) If the displaced person's mobile home is not decent, safe and sanitary and cannot be acquired under State law, he is entitled to all replacement hous- ing payments as i f the mobile home were being acquit ed and he does, in fact, relocate into a decent, safe, and sanitary mobile home or other type of living unit. Ti e mobile home re- mains the displaced person's prop- erty. (b) If the displaced person's mobile home cannot be acquired under State law and cannot be moved without substantial damage or unreasonable cost, he is entitled to all replacement housing payments as if the mobile home were being acquired. (2) If the owner elects to rept, the rent supple- ment will be 48 times tIh,e monthly differ- ence between the economic rent of the site acquired and the lesser of : (a) The actual rent paid for the replace- ment mobile home site; or • •
