1 <br />home site in the area of the owner's <br />acquired property. <br />(2) The interest differential payment and in- <br />cidental payment will be determined by the <br />same method as described in paragraph 113a <br />(2) and (3). <br />c. Rental of a Mobile Home and Site. An <br />owner -occupant eligible for a replacement housing <br />payment under guides described in paragraph 92a, <br />but elects to rent a replacement mobile home and <br />site is eligible for a rental supplement not to exceed <br />$4,000 for a period of 4 years. The payment would <br />be 48 times the monthly difference between the <br />economic rent of the owner's acquired dwelling and <br />the lesser of: <br />(1) The actual rent paid for the replacement <br />mobile home and site; or <br />(2) The amount the Sponsor has determined as <br />necessary to rent a comparable dwelling. <br />115. REPLACEMENT HOUSING PAY- <br />MENTS FOR OWNER -OCCUPANTS OF <br />MOBILE HOMES OF 90 DAYS BUT LESS <br />THAN 180 DAYS. <br />a. Optional Payments. A displaced owner who <br />has occupied the mobile home from which displace- <br />ment occurs, for 90 days but less than 180 con- <br />secutive days immediately before the initiation of <br />negotiations for the property or the issuance of a <br />written notice of intent to acquire the property by <br />a definite date, and who is otherwise eligible under <br />guides described in paragraph 94a is eligible for an <br />amount not to exceed $4,000: <br />(1) To enable such displaced person to make a <br />down payment on the purchase of replace- <br />ment housing in accordance with the guides <br />described in subparagraphs 'b(1), c(I),and <br />d (1) below and reimburse him for the ac- <br />tual expenses incident to such purchase; or <br />(2) If the displaced person elects to rent, a rent <br />supplement computed in the manner de- <br />scribed in paragraphs b(2), c(2), and d(2) <br />below. Such payments are to be computed <br />and disbursed in accordance with the prin- <br />ciples outlined in paragraph 96 b, c, and d. <br />b. Acquisition of Mobile Home and Site. The <br />owner -occupant may be reimbursed according to <br />the following: <br />(1) If the owner purchases a replacement dwell- <br />ing, the replacement housing payment will <br />be determined in accordance with the meth- <br />ods described in paragraph 94b except that <br />the amount of the downpayment will be <br />68 <br />determined by the Spon ;or as the amount <br />required as a downpayment on the purchase <br />of a comparable mobile home and site. <br />(2) If the owner elects to rent, the rent sup- <br />plement will be 48 timesthe monthly dif- <br />ference between the ecoI �iomic rent of the <br />acquired mobile home anI site and the lesser <br />of: <br />(a) The actual rent p 'd for the replace- <br />ment mobile home and site; or <br />(b) The amount the Sponsor has deter- <br />mined as necessary to rent a compa- <br />rable mobile home and site. <br />c. Acquisition of Site Only. Upon acquisition of <br />the site but not the mobile home also owned and <br />occupied by the owner of such site, the following op- <br />tional payments may be made: <br />(1) If the owner purchases conventional replace- <br />ment housing or a site to which the mobile <br />home is moved, the re )lacement housing <br />payment will be an amount computed in ac- <br />cordance with the guide described in para- <br />graph 94b, except that a amount of the <br />downpayment will be etermined by the <br />Sponsor asthe amount required as a down - <br />payment on the purchase of a comparable <br />mobile home site. <br />(a) If the displaced person's mobile home <br />is not decent, safe and sanitary and <br />cannot be acquired under State law, <br />he is entitled to all replacement hous- <br />ing payments as i f the mobile home <br />were being acquit ed and he does, in <br />fact, relocate into a decent, safe, and <br />sanitary mobile home or other type <br />of living unit. Ti e mobile home re- <br />mains the displaced person's prop- <br />erty. <br />(b) If the displaced person's mobile <br />home cannot be acquired under State <br />law and cannot be moved without <br />substantial damage or unreasonable <br />cost, he is entitled to all replacement <br />housing payments as if the mobile <br />home were being acquired. <br />(2) If the owner elects to rept, the rent supple- <br />ment will be 48 times tIh,e monthly differ- <br />ence between the economic rent of the site <br />acquired and the lesser of : <br />(a) The actual rent paid for the replace- <br />ment mobile home site; or <br />• <br />• <br />
