b. Purchase of a Mobile Home and Site or Con- <br />ventional Dwelling. If the displaced tenant pur- <br />chases a replacement dwelling, the replacement <br />housing payment will be determined in accordance <br />with the guides described in paragraph 94b, except <br />that the amount of the downpayment will be deter- <br />mined by the Sponsor as the amount required as a <br />downpayment on the purchase of a comparable <br />mobile home and site. <br />c. Purchase of a Mobile Home and Rents Site. <br />If the displaced tenant purchases a mobile home <br />and locates it on a rented site, the replacement <br />housing payment will be the actual downpayment <br />on the mdbile home plus 48 times the monthly dif- <br />ference between the actual rent on the site from <br />which the tenant was displaced and the lesser of: <br />(1) The actual rent paid for the replacement <br />mobile home site; or <br />(2) The amount the Sponsor has determined as <br />necessary to rent a comparable mobile home <br />site. <br />d. Rental of a Mobile Home and Site or Con- <br />ventional Dwelling. If the displaced tenant rents <br />a replacement dwelling, the payment will be 48 <br />times the monthly difference between the actual <br />rent for the mobile home and site from which the <br />tenant was displaced an the lesser of: <br />(1) The actual rent paid for the replacement <br />living unit; or <br />(2) The amount the sponsor has determined as <br />necessary to rent a comparable mdbile home <br />and site. <br />118. REPLACEMENT HOUSING PAY- <br />MENTS TO TENANTS OF CONVENTIONAL <br />DWELLINGS FOR 90 DAYS OR MORE WHO <br />RELOCATE INTO MOBILE HOMES. <br />70 <br />a. General. A displaced tenant who has occu- <br />pied a conventional dwelling fn>m which displace- <br />ment occurs for at least 90 consecutive days imme- <br />diately before the initiation of negotiation for the <br />property or the issuance of a written notice to ac- <br />quire the property by a definit date, and who is <br />otherwise eligible under guides described in para- <br />graph 96a, is eligible for a replacement housing pay- <br />ment not to exceed $4,000. <br />b. Purchase of a Mobile Home and Site. If the <br />displaced tenant purchases a mobile home and site, <br />the procedure for determining the downpayment <br />will be the same as described in paragraph 116b. <br />c. Purchase of a Mobile Hoirte and Rents Site. <br />If the tenant occupant purchases a mobile home <br />and locates it on a rented site the procedure for <br />determining the replacement housing payment will <br />be the same as described in par tgraph 116c except <br />that the tenant's actual rent on the property from <br />which displacement occurs wi 1 be used in the <br />computation. <br />d. Rental of Mobile Home and Site. If the dis- <br />placed tenant rents a mobile home and site, the pro- <br />cedure for determining the rent supplement will <br />be the same as described in paragraph 116d except <br />that the tenant's actual rent on the property from <br />which displacement occurs win be used in the <br />computation. <br />119. HOUSEBOATS. The ownership and rental <br />status for houseboats is basically the same as that <br />for mobile homes. When a houseboat is relocated <br />and the displaced person is otherwise eligible to re- <br />ceive relocation payments, suclpayments will be <br />determined in conformance wi h the appropriate <br />mobile home ownership or tem mt situation as de- <br />scribed in the foregoing paragra phs in this chapter. <br />120-129 RESERVED. <br />• <br />• <br />1 <br />
