LP:mtn"
fidit
December 3. 1971
Mr. Donald M. Greenberg
' Anoka Industrial Park
6415 Highway 10 Northwest
Anoka. Minnesota 55303
Dear Mr. Greenberg:
This is in reference to the proposed "Anoka Industrial Airport'
planned by your group. I will state that if. and when FAA Airspace
Approval is granted. the Metropolitan Airports Commission has
signified in writing•that they have no objection. and the airport
is built to meet or exceed the state's minimum standards as
outlined in the Rule, and Regulations given to you by Inspector
•
Brown. -we will issue a public airport license.
It must be borne in mind that these standards are the very
minimum for .the licensing of an airport used only during day-
light under Visual Flight Rules (VFR). If more sophisticated
operations such as at night or in'adverse weather conditions (IFR)
,are contemplated, additional runway length and/or considerably
better approach clearances will be required.
sincerely yours,
'Lawrence E. McCabe
Commissioner of Aeronautics
LEM:ER
CC to MAC
