38) The impl-ementation of the airport development plan, in whole
or in part, depends on the approvals and the availability of
local, state, and federal funding sources. Since the
airport development plan is a major public improvement
program, maximum levels of participation with State and
Federal Airport Improvement Program funds should be pursued.
39) The total facility development costs associated with
acquisition and improvements over this 20 year planning
period are as follows:
Development Costs Without Hangars
(Rounded to nearest $1000's)
Total Project Costs AIP State Local
Stage I $3,990,000 3,591,000 - -399,000
Stage II 720,000 531,000 87,000 103,000
Stage III 258,000 204,000 21,000 33,000
TOTALS - $4,955,000 $4,326,000 $108,000 $535,000
Development Costs With Hangars
(Rounded to nearest $1000's)
Total Project Costs AIP State Local
Stage I $3,990,000 3,591,000 399,000
Stage II 1,272,000 531,000 194,000 546,000
Stage III 670,000 204,000 101,000 365,000
TOTALS $5,899,000 $4,326,000 $295,000 $1,310,000
The Federal share of project costs under the Airport
Improvement Program (AIP) assuming full 90% participation on
eligible projects is 87% (without hangars) of the total
capital improvement costs.
