-M
Mr. Richard Theisen
Page 2
June 20, 1989
As we discussed May 4, we are submitting supplemental information
describing the candidate landfill site project (excerpts from Site
P EAW). We'll keep Mn/DOT and FAA informed of additional
information as that process continues. Based on our discussion,
however, the FAA's environmental review of the airport improvement
need not be held up by the uncertainty of the landfill selection
process. A bill has again been introduced in the legislature that
would void that process. A similar provision was unanimously
approved in the Senate this year and was defeated in conference
committee.
If you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact us.
Sincerely,
HAKANSON ANDERSON ASSOCIATES, INC.
MerA and Otto
/mlc
Enclosures
cc: Dave Hartley, City Admin.
