•
The concrete bin east of the Runway 34 threshhold
penetrates the 7:1 transition surface, and is planned to be
obstruction lighted. Clearances over all roadways and
railroads meet and exceed State and Federal criteria.
9.5 Airport Property Map
This sheet illustrates the existing land ownership and pro-
posed acquisition recommended for airport development. A
total of approximately 227 acres are proposed to be pur-
chased in fee simple. Clear zone easements are recommended
for an additional 0.8 acres. Cooperative agreements will
have to be secured for transportation right-of-ways with
appropriate agencies. It is also recommended that a road-
way right-of-way or easement be obtained allowing for even-
tual access from C.S.A.H. 116 to the east side of Runway
16-34.
The proposed acquisition plan also encompasses nearly all
properties which lie within the State's land use safety
zone A, an area where no development is allowed.
Also illustrated on this sheet is the limit of AIP eligi-
bility for land acquisition. This encompasses an area 750'
either side of the runway centerline and extends outward
from each runway end a distance of 3600', (3400' from the
end of the primary surface).
9-3
