Mr. Cronk expressed an interest in seeing that report. <br />Mr. Greeby stated he has a lot of research to do and that would be a huge value. <br />Mr. Cronk suggested that information would be more important to them than the Buxton Study. <br />Deputy City Administrator Deputy City Administrator Nelson commented that the Buxton Study <br />update is pending. <br />Mr. Lazan suggested teaming up and giving them a little direction. <br />HRA Executive Director Ulrich inquired what the strategy for attracting large office uses - <br />corporate offices, campuses .. . <br />Mr. Greeby responded that they have a lot of connections - we can ramp up and come up with an <br />organized focus approach. <br />Mr. Cronk talked about putting together their package -money, quality of life, and accessibility <br />(train stop is a bonus). <br />Commissioner Elvig asked about sustainability. <br />Mr. Lazan stated that they should go back and visit that as a team. Our marketing needs to <br />include that. <br />Mr. Greeby stated you have space here so you have a lot of great opportunities. <br />Mr. Lazan stated they are working through marketing collateral materials. <br />IX. Execution/Action Items <br />a. Short Term- Las Vegas ICSC <br />We have nothing more than a placeholder on the map - we need to talk about strategy and what <br />we have ready. Hopefully we will have abrand - a level of marketing materials -and roles for <br />folks who are going there. We need to take advantage of people but not overwhelm them. <br />Chair pro tem Ramsey stated that he felt the Development Team should orchestrate this and tell <br />us what to do. <br />Mr. Lazan stated he liked the concept of assigning these roles of ambassadorship. He would like <br />to organize every hour of-that conference. <br />Mr. Greeby expressed agreement. This is a lot of coordination in a very short period of time and <br />he wants to be effective. He added we have responsibilities to the booth - it cannot be <br />unmanned at all.
