WITNESSETH, that the Contractor hereby covenants and agrees to furnish all necessary tools and equipment and to do and perform all the work and labor as set forth herein, located within the Cities. General Overview: The Cities will be assisting interested, eligible property owners ("Property Owner") within the Cities with the contracting of specific tree removal services from Contractor for the period from May 10, 2010 thru October 22, 2010 to remove and properly dispose of dead/diseased evergreen trees and removal of the resulting debris on private/public properties in the Cities in accordance with this Contract. Execution of Contract: The Contractor must execute and return this Contract within ten (10) days of receipt. Cities and Pro e~rty Owner As;reements: In addition to this Contract between the Cities and the Contractor, each participating Property Owner shall enter into a separate agreement with the Cities prior to the commencement of any work being performed by the Contractor on the Property Owner's property. Scope of Work: The scope of work covered by this Contract and required of the Contractor will include, but not be limited to, removing all trees in accordance with the instructions for tree removal as set forth in Exhibit A which is attached hereto and made a part hereof; hauling away and/or grinding all material and leaving the stumps no higher than four (4) inches above grade; and contacting the Cities upon completion to request verification of conformance to City standards and identification of any additional repair work necessitated by Contractor's operations. In addition, all trees not intended for removal that are damaged as a result of Contractor's operations shall be removed by Contractor at the City's and/or Property Owner's discretion. The Contractor agrees to perform a final walk thru inspection with City Staff prior to final payment. By executing this Contract, the Contractor agrees to complete all of the work covered in this Contract and in accordance with Exhibit A.
