CASE # 5. ~~ <br />REPORT FROM PUBLIC WORKS <br />By: Public Works Staff <br />The Public Works Committee met on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 and discussed the following 4 <br />cases: <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br />There was none. <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br />Motion to approve the agenda as submitted. <br />Case #1: Public Works Site Inventory <br />Background: <br />The Planning Division reviewed the Public Works site looking specifically for code compliance <br />with applicable zoning regulations. <br />The Committee discussed screening, using Class 5, tire storage/disposal, dumpster access, and <br />organics. <br />The Interim Use permit is due by this summer and then the City Council will address specific <br />concerns relative to Class 5 surfacing in the industrial area. <br />Action: <br />No action required. <br />Case #2: Update on 1615 Avenue & Armstrong Blvd Pedestrian Crossing <br />Background: <br />The Committee discussed because this was a busy road, it might be worth getting other resident <br />support for increased site lines. <br />Motion to recommend that the City Council allow staff to contact the owners to inquire about <br />expanding the site triangles. <br />Action: <br />Ratify the recommendation of the Public Works Committee. <br />
