<br />owner could sell to any party it chooses. The MOU would need to be referenced in the text of the <br />Comprehensive Plan, but would not need to be shown on the Future Land Use Map. Anoka County Parks <br />Staff has agreed to draft MOU for review by the City. City Staff has not received this draft yet, but would <br />like to discuss the City Council's position on the latest proposal before proceeding further. <br /> <br />The Metropolitan Council has supported a similar request in this round of Comprehensive Plans. A <br />sample MOU is included in this packet for your review. Ramsey's request, if approved by Council would <br />differ from the sample MOU in that the City would not be required to indicate the MOU on the Future <br />Land Use or Zoning Map, since the in-holding parcel has not been included in the Anoka County Parks <br />Master Plan. <br /> <br />Anoka County Parks staff has reiterated that they are only interested in working with willing sellers and <br />does not have the appropriate funding to acquire the parcel in the near future.
