Commissioner Wise commented that he felt the Planning Commission should be listening to this <br />Mr. Cronk suggested that the biggest concern is getting through the process fast and efficient. <br />Mr. Lazan stated that with regard to the quality of standards - we are pretty much in line. He <br />stated we may want to make some changes that open doors a little for some folks and used <br />Target as an example. <br />Deputy City Administrator Nelson talked about the variance issue and having our development <br />standards high. She used the Allina Clinic as an example and how we may not have gotten what <br />we did in that development if our standards were not as high. <br />Commissioner Wise reiterated his concern about lag time <br />Commissioner Ramsey stated that we also need to protect the people who are already developed <br />here. <br />Commissioner McGlone talked about price and to set it a little higher as then you may be able to <br />lower it if you have to. <br />Commissioner Elvig mentioned the Town Center Task Force and what they put together and all <br />the time and discussion it took and he would like to not see that get thrown out. <br />Mr. Lazan replied that they are talking more geographical changes. <br />Mr. Cronk talked about meetings with developers and letting them know what's expected. <br />Mr. Greeby stated he is not worried about guidelines - he wondered if we know where we are <br />starting our discussion points. <br />Commissioner Elvig stated that it's important for us to stay connected to the Planning <br />Commission and make sure their vision and guidelines are in line with the HRA's/City <br />Council's. <br />a.
