<br />Case 3 <br /> <br />Discuss COPS Hiring Recovery Program Application <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The Committee discussed the pros and cons of the COPS Hiring Recovery Program. Chief Way <br />was present and explained the program. It was the consensus of the Committee that the Police <br />Chief should move ahead with submitting the application for the hiring program and that if the <br />City was chosen for the hiring program it could decide on the appropriate action to take at that <br />time. <br /> <br />Action: <br /> <br />No action required.
