The rates specified in the contract <br />will be adjusted in accordance with this table during the contract term. <br /> <br />SERVICE VEHICLES <br /> <br />A description of the vehicles to be leased to the successful proposer for use in providing the <br />service described in this RFP is attached as Exhibit C to this Scope of Work. <br /> <br />I. DEFINITIONS <br /> <br />For the purposes of the agreement, the terms defined in this Article I have the following <br />meanings unless otherwise provided or indicated by the context: <br /> <br />1.01 Contract Year. The term of the agreement is divided into five Contract Years as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Contract Year Begins: Ends: <br />1 October 1, 2010 September 30, 2011 <br />2 October 1,2011 September 30,2012 <br />3 (ext) October 1,2012 September 30,2013 <br />4 (ext) October 1, 2013 September 30, 2014 <br />5 (ext) October 1, 2014 September 30, 2015 <br /> <br />1.02 Contractor. For purposes ofthe agreement, any reference to "Contractor" includes <br />its subcontractors who have been approved by the City Council to provide service under the <br />agreement. <br /> <br />1.03 Deadhead Hours. "Deadhead Hours" means the measurement of time (in hours) <br />during any time a vehicle is traveling from its garage or yard facility to the first scheduled pick- <br />up time point, or any time the vehicle is traveling from the last scheduled drop-off time point to <br /> <br />3 <br />
