<br />EXHIBIT C TO SCOPE OF WORK <br />DESCRIPTION OF VEHICLES TO BE LEASED TO CITY <br />(SERVICE VEHICLES) <br /> <br />All vehicles used to provide services for the Project shall meet and/or <br />exceed the requirements specified in this section. The proposer is free to <br />propose any make or model of vehicle to meet these requirements. It is <br />not required that all vehicles under this proposal be of the same make, <br />model, or year, or manufacturer. Year 2001 or newer models are <br />preferred. The CITY reserves the right to make the final determination of <br />whether a vehicle will be accepted for service. All vehicles provided by <br />the proposer shall be for the exclusive use of the Project, and during the <br />term of this contract shall not be used by the proposer to provide other <br />services. The CITY desires that all vehicles providing services under this <br />contract are of uniform appearance and designation. Each proposal shall <br />address this issue. The following are the requirements for vehicles: <br /> <br />a) Interior Noise Level <br />i) The interior noise produced by anyone bus will not exceed <br />83 decibels in any mode of operation. <br />ii) The interior of the bus will be properly insulated to <br />eliminate transfer of engine and road noise into the <br />passenger compartment. Rear engine decks and <br />bulkhead wall will be insulated with maximum available <br />insulation from bus manufacturer. <br />iii) Insulation of roof and sides will provide maximum thermal <br />barrier and sound absorption as available. <br /> <br />b) Floor <br /> <br />i) The interior of the bus will be properly insulated to <br />eliminate transfer of engine and road noise into the <br />passenger compartment. <br />ii) Flooring will be of a rubber or vinyl non-slip material that is <br />totally washable. Flooring will be coved up the walls to the <br />side seat track. <br /> <br />c) Step Wells <br /> <br />i) Steps will be at least four steps plus the floor at the driver's <br />seat level. <br />ii) Step depth and rise height will be uniform. <br />iii) Step treads will be of a rubber or vinyl non-slip material <br />and must meet ADA for color contrast. <br />iv) Step well will be lighted when entrance door is opened. <br /> <br />d) Interior Lighting <br /> <br />25 <br />
