Councilmember Jeffrey stated he stood by the previous decision made in 2006 and he believed that was the right decision. He noted he supported taking this to the voters as long as the information was given correctly. Motion by Councilmember Look, seconded by Mayor Ramsey, to acknowledge receipt of the Charter Commission's May 5, 2010 action on Ordinance 10-03; proceed with submitting the Charter Amendment as proposed in Ordinance 10-03 by submitting the proposed charter amendment to the people at the November 2, 2010 general election; and schedule a work session to discuss the ballot question wording at which work session the Charter Commission members will be invited for their input on developing the proposed ballot question. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Look, Dehen, Jeffrey, McGlone, and Wise. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Elvig. 7.03: Adopt Ordinance Amending Chapter 105, Buildings and Building Regulations, of the Ramsey City Code Deputy City Administrator Nelson reviewed the staff report. Motion by Councilmember Look, seconded by Councilmember Wise, to adopt Ordinance #10-09 Amending Chapter 105 of the City Code, Buildings and Building Regulations. A roll call vote was performed by the Recording Secretary: Councilmember Dehen aye Councilmember Elvig absent Councilmember Jeffrey aye Councilmember Look aye Councilmember McGlone aye Councilmember Wise aye Mayor Ramsey aye Motion carried. Item 7.04 moved last item under Council Business. 7.05: Adopt Resolution #10-06-XXX Declaring Surplus Property and Authorizing Sale City Administrator Ulrich reviewed the staff report. He recommended proceeding with the sale upon the process being approved by the City Attorney. Motion by Mayor Ramsey, seconded by Councilmember Jeffrey, to adopt Resolution #10-06- 121 Declaring Surplus Property and Authorizing Sale subject to the process being approved by the City Attorney.
