Councilmember Jeffrey stated he stood by the previous decision made in 2006 and he believed <br />that was the right decision. He noted he supported taking this to the voters as long as the <br />information was given correctly. <br />Motion by Councilmember Look, seconded by Mayor Ramsey, to acknowledge receipt of the <br />Charter Commission's May 5, 2010 action on Ordinance 10-03; proceed with submitting the <br />Charter Amendment as proposed in Ordinance 10-03 by submitting the proposed charter <br />amendment to the people at the November 2, 2010 general election; and schedule a work session <br />to discuss the ballot question wording at which work session the Charter Commission members <br />will be invited for their input on developing the proposed ballot question. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Look, Dehen, Jeffrey, McGlone, <br />and Wise. Voting No: None.
