Absent: Councilmember Elvig. <br />7.06: Adopt Resolution #10-06-XXX Authorizing Staff to Enter into a Contract with <br />Kohn Brothers Logging to Complete the Pine Tree Removals and Disposal as Part <br />of a FireWise Grant <br />Councilmember McGlone inquired about the procedure. He asked if an RFP had been received. <br />He stated he was concerned with hiring a contractor with going onto private property. <br />Environmental Coordinator Anderson responded quotes were received and this was a joint <br />project with the City of Andover. He reviewed the quotes received; noting Kohn Brothers came <br />in with the lowest quote. He noted the City Attorneys from both Cities had drafted release forms <br />releasing the Cities for any work done on the private property. <br />Motion by Councilmember Jeffrey, seconded by Mayor Ramsey, to adopt Resolution #10-06- <br />122 Authorizing Staff to Enter into a Contract with Kohn Brothers Logging to Complete the Pine <br />Tree Removals and Disposal as part of a FireWise Grant. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Jeffrey, Dehen, Look, McGlone, <br />and Wise. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Elvig. <br />7.04: Consider Purchase Agreement for Real Property in the Vicinity of Highway #10, <br />between Armstrong Boulevard and Ramsey Boulevard -Portions of this Discussion <br />May be Closed to the Public <br />City Attorney Goodrich noted that this meeting can move into closed session to discuss a <br />purchase agreement for real property in the vicinity of Highway #10 between Armstrong and <br />Ramsey Boulevards. <br />Motion by Councilmember Jeffrey, seconded by Councilmember Look, to move to closed <br />session. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Jeffrey, Look, Dehen, McGlone, <br />and Wise. Voting No: None.
