CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Work Session on Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at <br />the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br />Members Present: Mayor Bob Ramsey <br />Councilmember John Dehen <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Matt Look <br />Councilmember Colin McGlone <br />Councilmember Jeffrey Wise <br />Also Present: City Administrator Kurtis Ulrich <br />Deputy City Administrator Heidi A. Nelson <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Community Development Director Amber Miller <br />Associate Planner Tim Gladhill <br />Park Supervisor Mazk Riverblood <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Ramsey called the City Council Work Session to order at 6:00 p.m. <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br />The agenda was approved as submitted. <br />i COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br />!, 1) Mississippi River Corridor Critical Area (MRCCA) Rulemaking Process <br />Associate Planner Gladhill reviewed the staff s report. <br />Councilmember Dehen stated it concerned him that this was going to be more restrictive. <br />Associate Planner Gladhill noted in some areas it would be more restrictive, but there was <br />flexibility with the tiered system being proposed. <br />2) Livable Communities Act (LCA) <br />Planning Manager Miller reviewed the staff s report. <br />City Council Work Session /June 8, 2010 <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
