The Public Hearing closed at 7:20 p.m. <br />Board Business <br />Motion by Board Member Levine, seconded by Board Member Hunt to adopt resolution #10-OS- <br />xx adopting findings of fact # favorable to the applicant relating to a request for a variance at <br />16208 Coquina Street NW with the change to finding of fact number 9 "to provide access to the <br />front door". <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Van Scoy, Board Members, Levine, Hunt, Brauer, <br />Cleveland, Dunaway, and Rogers. Voting No: None. Absent: None. <br />Motion by Chairperson Van Scoy, seconded by Board Member Levine to adopt resolution #10- <br />OS-xx to approve the request for a variance to side yard setback in the R-1 Residential (Rural <br />Developing) District at 16208 Coquina Street based on the findings of fact and declaring terms of <br />the same. <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Van Scoy, Board Members, Levine, Brauer, <br />Cleveland, Dunaway, Hunt, and Rogers. Voting No: Chairperson Van Scoy. Absent: None. <br />Case #2: Public Hearing -Request for a Variance for Placement of an Accessory <br />Structure Closer to the Front Property Line than the Principal Structure at 14440 Bowers <br />Drive NW; Case of Laurel Anderson <br />Public Hearin¢ <br />Chairperson Van Scoy called the public hearing to order at 7:28 p.m. <br />Presentation <br />Management Intern Jessica Hendricks presented the Staff Report. <br />Citizen Input <br />Laurel Anderson, 14440 Bowers Drive NW, the applicant, stated she is comfortable with the <br />requirement that the lot cannot be split without the accessory structure being removed. They will <br />extend the driveway to the accessory structure. <br />Associate Planner Gladhill clarified that asphalt will be required for the driveway in this zoning <br />district. <br />Ms. Anderson stated that would not be an issue. <br />Motion by Chairperson Van Scoy, seconded by Board Member Hunt, to close the public hearing. <br />Board of Adjustment/May 6, 2010 <br />Page 3 of 4 <br />
