City of Ramsey <br />FACILITY USE AND RENTAL POLICY <br />nT-'~'~~°" r~r~~r~r~uin~ nir r~~ rm~r~ <br />The purpose of this policy is to provide written guidelines in conjunction with the use and <br />rental of the Municipal Center1 -Park Center Building, and City Amphitheater. <br />The Ramsey Municipal Center houses the administrative and police functions of the City <br />of Ramsey. Additionally, the Municipal Center serves as a location for various public <br />meetings of the City Council, Council CommitteesBoards and other governmental <br />bodies. Regular meetings of the City Council are held at the Municipal Center on the 2na <br />and 4tn Tuesdays in the Council Chambers and work sessions are held on the 1St, 3`a and <br />Sa' Tuesdays in the ^_'av."„ate,. n.'.,,~.°" p~~~NLake Itasca Roam. <br />The following ~c~~3s-facilities may be available for public use in the City of Ramsey: <br />Ramsey Municipal Center: - 7550 Sunwood Drive NW <br />Alexander Ramsey Room Capacity 274 (standing) 100 (seated) <br />**Please note that the Alexander Ramsey Room also serves as the City's <br />official Emergency Operations Center (EOC~-in the case that the EOC is <br />in operation, outside use of the room will not be available. <br />Mississippi River Room Capacity 10 <br />Rum River Room Capacity 10 <br />Trott Brook Room Capacity 10 <br />Lake Itasca Room Capacity -1-955 <br />Park Center Buildin~~r at Central Park - 7925 1 Fi1,t Avenue NW <br />The Park Center Building at Central Park has available for public use in <br />accordance with this policy, one large common area that accommodates a <br />capacity of 74 persons. <br />*Please note that the Park Center facility does not have a dedicated phone <br />line within the facility. <br />City of Ramsey Amphitheater - 7401. East Ramsey Parkway <br />'1•he City Amphitheater is located in the COR. 'I'hc Amphitheater has seating <br />available for 300 people. Please note that events that are.put on for the enjoyment <br />of all Ramsey residents, such as the Ramsey Foundation's Summer Conczrt <br />Series, will take precedence over private events. <br />The need to conduct City business takes precedence over any reservation, paid or unpaid. <br />Paid reservations will be rescheduled if possible or refunded if City business replaces the <br />community organization or business reservation. <br />City facilities may be reserved by not-for-profit organizations or initiatives and by <br />Ramsey for-profit businesses for business meetings. For-profit use of the facility can not <br />
