involve the sale of goods or use that exceeds four (4) reservations per year. The for- <br />profit organization must have completed their BRC registration for the current year to be <br />eligible to rent space in the facility. <br />PRIORITY OF USE <br />The priority of use of these facilities is as follows: <br />1) Governmental functions: <br /> a) Offices and City Council <br /> b) Planning Commission and Board of Adjustment <br /> c) All Other Commissions <br /> d) Sub-Committees of City Council or Commissions <br /> e) Administrative <br />2) Organized Groups: <br /> a) Senior Citizen Groups <br /> b) Groups performing a public service (e.g., AA, Mediation Services, <br /> Educational Services) <br /> c) Groups whose purpose is to perform public service (e.g. Boy or <br /> Girl Scouts, ARAA, Women of Today) <br /> d) Groups who wish to use the facility for recreation or routine <br /> meetings <br />3) General Public <br />4) Church or Religious Organizations <br />RESERVATIONS <br />Reservations may be made no more than 180 days in advance with the exception of <br />annual lease agreements. <br />Governmental functions normally are scheduled at a minimum of three days in advance. <br />However, this requirement may be waived if the need is great or an emergency exists. <br />Governmental functions may supersede any other use with or without reservations if (1) <br />three days notice is given; and (2) there is no other practical alternative. An attempt <br />should be made, as practicable, to find other alternatives and give three days notice <br />whenever possible. <br />Organized groups or the general public must make reservations for use of the facilities in <br />writing at least 14 days in advance of the event. <br />FEES AND DEPOSITS <br />The permit to utilize a room within a city facility is valid only for the date and time <br />specified and must be in the possession of a responsible party at each event. <br />
