Further. discussion: Building Official Kaehler recommended fencing be added around the front <br />yard. Councilmember Jeffrey agreed this would need to be done if the debris was not removed <br />right away. He believed the property was unsafe as it sat today as well as it being unsafe with a <br />pile of debris. City Attorney Goodrich noted the City would need to obtain the mortgage <br />holder's consent to put a lien on the property ahead of the mortgage company. He indicated this <br />could be an issue. Mr. Belrose stated he was willing to give the City all of the mortgage holder's <br />information. Acting Mayor Look stated the first priority had to be the safety of the community at <br />whatever the cost was. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Acting Mayor Look, Councilmembers Elvig, Jeffrey, and Wise. <br />Voting No: None. Absent: Mayor Ramsey and Councilmembers Dehen and McGlone. <br />8. MAYOR, COUNCIL AND STAFF INPUT <br />• Tuesday & Wednesday, June 22 - 23, 2010 -Annual Kids Safety Camp at the Boy Scout <br />Camp on Highway #47 <br />• Monday, June 28, 2010 -Annual Ramsey/Anoka Rotary Golf Event at The Links at <br />Northfork <br />• Monday, July 12, 2010 -Joint Council Meeting with the City of Anoka at Acapulco <br />Restaurant, in Ramsey. The meeting will being at 5:30 p.m. <br />• Councilmember McGlone stated he had received a phone call from a resident regarding a <br />sidewalk on Alpine Drive. Public Works Director Olson stated there were no plans at <br />this time to put a sidewalk on Alpine Drive. Acting Mayor Look asked staff to look into <br />the possibility of adding sidewalks in this area and bring it back to Council worksession. <br />• Councilmember McGlone indicated the reader board at Diamonds was still on and asked <br />staff to contact the realtor and instruct him to turn off the reader board. <br />• Acting Mayor Look requested the City send Ms. Weyandt a letter thanking her for her <br />contribution to the community. <br />• Councilmember Elvig asked staff to send a letter to the residents who had an interest in <br />the City Improvement Project #08-34 <br />• City Administrator Ulrich noted the Anoka County Licensing Center was now open in <br />the bottom level of the City Hall. <br />City Council /June 22, 2010 <br />Page 9 of 11 <br />
