<br />Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for 'its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #10-08-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING THE RAMSEY ROTARY COMMEMORATIVE PARK <br />PROJECT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has a formal policy in place for accepting park <br />donations, monuments, and other improvements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey Rotary has approached the City with a plan to create a <br />memorial area in The Draw; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the creation of that park will be funded by the sale of memorial brick <br />pavers. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the Ramsey Rotary Commemorative Park <br />Project. <br /> <br />2) That the final design of the Ramsey Rotary Commemorative Park is subject to approval <br />by the City. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 9th day of August, 20 I O. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
