<br />It should be noted, due to the resignation of the Human Resources Manager/Assistant <br />Director of Administrative Services, staff will be unable to shift some of the general <br />administration responsibilities to that position which would have enabled the Deputy City <br />Administrator/Community Development Director to focus more on economic <br />development and HRA responsibilities. The Human Resources Manager/Assistant <br />Director of Administrative Services position is proposed to be eliminated from the 2011 <br />budget in favor of an internal staff promotion and a reassignment of some duties. <br /> <br />Funding Source <br /> <br />If the proposal is accepted, staff recommends a hiring range of $65,767-$72,343 with <br />70% of the Economic Development/Marketing Manager's salary coming from the EDA <br />levy and 30% coming from TIF funds. <br /> <br />Personnel Committee Recommendation <br /> <br />The Personnel Committee recommended the City Council authorize staff to begin the <br />recruitment process for an Economic Development/Marketing Manager. <br /> <br />Council Action <br /> <br />Motion to authorize staff to begin the recruitment process for an Economic Development <br />/ Marketing Manager. <br /> <br />~O <br />ity Administrator <br />~ <br /> <br />Attachments: <br />.
