WHEREAS, adoption of this resolution demonstrates the City of Ramsey's commitment <br />and support of the Ramsey Rail Station project. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br />1) That City staff is hereby directed to make application to the County Transit Investment <br />Board (CTIB) fora $1 million grant to assist in funding the Ramsey Rail Station. <br />2) The City of Ramsey will guarantee an amount not to exceed $3.1 million for the local <br />match as indicated in the attached Exhibit A, and will make requests to the County and <br />the regional rail authorities to determine their level of participation toward this local <br />match. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Jeffrey and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Ramsey <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Dehen <br />Councilmember Look <br />Councilmember Wise <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />and the following were absent: <br />Councilmember McGlone <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 315 day of August, 2010. <br />Bob Ramsey, Mayor <br />Jo Qlnn M.
