I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I ~o~,o.~0~ ~_~ / ~;~ RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED SUBMISSION OF A MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRADE AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, MINNESOTA INVESTMENT FUND GRANT WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey ("City") has previously entered into a Development Agreement with Panther Investments (dba Panther Precision Machine) to consta-uct a manufacturing facility in Sunfish Lake Business Park; and WHEREAS, the owners of Panther Precision Machine have requested that the City of Ramsey submit a grant application to the Minnesota Department of Trade and Economic Development to assist the business with the project in Ramsey; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined to consider submitting a Minnesota Department of Trade and Economic Development, Mitmesota Investment Fund Grant application. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) PUBLIC HEAR/NG. This Council shall meet on Tuesday, June 24, 2003, at approximately 7:00 PM at Fire Station No. 1 to hold a public hearing On the submission and filing of an application for a Minnesota Investment Fund Grant fi'om the Minnesota Department of Trade and Economic Development. 2) NOTICE OF HEARING. The City Administrator is hereby authorized to cause a notice of the hearing, substantially in the fbrm attached hereto as Exhibit A. The motion fbr the adopt/on of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and upon vote And the following voted against the same: And the following abstained: And the following were absent: Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City CounciFthis __ day of May, 2003.
