Conditional Use Permit Deal' Ms. Frolik: Saint Paul Terminals has been in discussions with the City regarding future use of its property at 14050 Basalt Avenue and has not fully initiated the conditional use permit issued by the City on June 26, 2001. The Council extended initiation of the conditional use permit in 2002. Saint Paul Terminals is now beginning the steps to implement the conditional use permit and will open for business on a limited basis. It is also completing the other items required by the City as a condition to initiation of the conditional use permit. It is likely that Saint Paul Terminals will not completely implement the conditions of the conditional use permit prior to June 2(5, 2003. It is also Iikely that if it completes the fencing required by the permit that the fence itself and the cost of the fence will make it more difficult to negotiate and implement the future use of the property discussed.with the City. I write to request at] extension of the time to completely initiate the conditional use permit and/or to reinstate discussions with the City regarding future use of the property. I will' be our, ....
