Storm Drainaqe The City will pay for the storm drainage construction and easement cost from the sale of the twenty City lots. However, the City will use the 50% shared cost allocated to the Helium Street properties west of this project area in the negotiation for right-of-way across those benefited properties. This shared cost is calculated below. For water hookup, the lateral charge is $ 3,118 and the trunk fee is $ 562. For sewer hookup, the lateral charge is $ 6,939 the trunk fee is $1,252. The total lateral charge for water and sewer is $ . l 0,057~ The assumed 22 lots would generate $221,254. This more than covers the expected cost shown below.
