Motion by Commissioner Olsen, seconded by Commissioner Barr to recommend to City Council the new created pazk space in Town Center be named Artisan Commons. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Vice Chair Backous, Commissioners Barr, Bennett, Fyten, LaMere and Olsen. Voting No: None. Absent: Chairperson Shryock. Commissioner Bennett's final comment is overall The Draw has grown on him, but thinks it would be something for a much bigger feature within the City. If Artisan Commons was named over time people would still tend to say we aze going to the Commons at the COR or The Draw at the COR and he really likes the COR branding and it will be very easy to build an identity around these things. COMMISSION/STAFF INPUT Policy on Pocket Parks: Parks Supervisor Riverblood stated in the past previous Commissions have discussed as a City we have identified that pocket parks should not be the purview of the public or should be the purview of the individual homeowners or townhome associations. Amphitheatre and Farmers Market Upcoming Events Status of Boat Landing and Fishing Pier update that the City Council has passed the resolution and the County Board has approved the JPA and work could begin as soon as this falls. Elmcrest Park Building and Playground Equipment Project: Parks Supervisor Riverblood asked that it be made a greater priority and part of that is to identify the various funding sources. August meeting at the Community Garden and September meeting will be at The Draw in the COR. Vice Chair Backous discussed the upcoming July District Tournament. ADJOURNMENT Motion by Vice Chair Backous, seconded by Commissioner Olsen to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried.
