CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Work Session on Tuesday, August 24, 2010, <br />at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br />Members Present: Mayor Bob Ramsey <br />Councilmember John Dehen <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember Matt Look <br />Councilmember Colin McGlone <br />Councilmember Jeffrey Wise <br />Also Present: City Administrator Kurtis Ulrich <br />Deputy City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Public Works Director Brian Olson <br />Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />Police Chief James Way <br />Pazks Supervisor Mark Riverblood <br />Interim Human Resources Representative Lasher <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Ramsey called the City Council Work Session to order at 5:28 p.m. <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br />The agenda was approved as submitted. <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br />1) Trail Riding Presentation <br />Mary Campbell, ATV Association of MN, presented trail riding opportunities in northern Anoka <br />County. <br />Councilmember Dehen expressed concern about noise from the ATVs when riding in ditches. <br />Councilmember Wise expressed concern about dust. Ms. Campbell noted there were ways to <br />minimize that concern such as spraying the trails or using woodchips. <br />City Council Work Session /August 24, 2010 <br />Page 1 of 4 <br />
