<br />Councilmember Look introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #10-08-191 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #0874 RELATING TO <br />A REQUEST FROM DOLPHIN FAST FOOD INC. FOR A CONDITIONAL <br />USE PERMIT TO EXCEED SIGN RESTRICTIONS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey received an application from Dolphin Fast Food, Inc., <br />hereinafter referred to as the "Applicant", for a conditional use permit to install an off-premise sign on <br />the property generally known as 7245 Highway 10 NW and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />That part of Lot 7 Auditors Subdivision No. 34 Anoka County, Minnesota described as <br />follows: Commencing at the southeast comer of said Lot 7, thence northwesterly on the <br />southwesterly line of said Lot 7 a distance of 770 feet, thence north and parallel with the east <br />line of said Lot 7 and to the northeasterly line of said Lot 7, thence southeasterly on said <br />northeasterly line a distance of 200 feet to the point of beginning of land to be described, <br />thence continue southeasterly on the northeasterly line said Lot 7 a distance of 150 feet, thence <br />south and parallel with the east line of said Lot 7 and to the southwesterly line of said Lot 7, <br />thence northwesterly on said southwesterly line to a line drawn south from the point of <br />beginning and parallel with the east line of said Lot 7, thence north and parallel with the east <br />line of said Lot 7 and to the point of beginning (subject to easement of record if any) <br /> <br />("Subject Property") <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY (the "City"), ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1. That the Applicant properly applied for a conditional use permit (the "Permit") to install an off- <br />premise sign on the Subject Property. <br /> <br />2. That the Applicant appeared before the Ramsey Planning Commission for a public hearing pursuant <br />to Section 117-51 (Conditional Use Permits) of the City Code on August 5,2010 and that said public <br />hearing was properly advertised, and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated <br />as a part of these findings by reference. <br /> <br />3. That the Applicant owns and operates a Burger King restaurant on the adjacent parcel east of the <br />Subject Property. <br /> <br />4. That the Subject Property is approximately 1.05 acres in size. <br /> <br />5. That the Subject Property is zoned H-l Highway Business. <br /> <br />6. That the Subject Property is currently occupied by Pine Ridge Pet Care. <br /> <br />7. That the Subject Property has public road frontage along Highway 10 NW. <br />
