The following Council minutes were noted: <br /> 1) City Council regular meeting minutes dated July 13, 2010 <br /> 2) City Council regular meeting minutes dated July 27, 2010 <br /> PUBLIC HEARINGS /COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> Case #1: Public Hearing — Request for an Interim Use Permit to Exceed Sign <br /> Restrictions on the Property Located at 7157 Highway 10 NW; Case of City <br /> of Ramsey HRA <br /> Public Hearing <br /> Chairperson Levine called the public hearing to order at 7:04 p.m. <br /> Presentation <br /> Environmental Coordinator Anderson presented the staff report. <br /> Citizen Input <br /> Darren Lazan, development Manager for The COR, stated they are working on developing a <br /> comprehensive sign package, which includes monument signs, community signs and signage <br /> within the entire project that would bring identity to the project. <br /> Commissioner Brauer stated it is nice to see a common sign theme throughout the COR. He <br /> asked how the decision will be made as to who advertises on the sign. <br /> Mr. Lazan stated there have been discussions on sign allocations and for now the intent is to <br /> promote the project as a whole, give recognition to those who have invested in The COR and as <br /> new business arrives it could be for purchase. <br /> Planning Manger Miller stated this would be a five year Interim Use Permit. <br /> Motion by Commissioner Van Scoy, seconded by Commissioner Cleveland, to close the public <br /> hearing. <br /> Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Levine, Commissioners Van Scoy, Cleveland, and <br /> Brauer. Voting No: None.
