Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Elvig, Mayor Ramsey, and Councilmember McGlone. <br />Voting No: None. <br />Case #4: Consider Installation of Pedestrian Ramps <br />City Engineer Himmer reviewed the staff report. <br />Motion by Chairperson Elvig, seconded by Mayor Ramsey, to recommend to the City Council <br />that a portion of the fund balance for the Street Maintenance Program be authorized for the <br />installation of deficient or missing pedestrian ramps in the amount of $45,000. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Elvig and Mayor Ramsey and McGlone. Voting No: <br />None. <br />Case #5: MnDOT Response to Sign Request at 16261 St. Francis Blvd Access <br />City Engineer Himmer reviewed the staff report. <br />The Committee discussed the site line issue and alternatives. <br />It was the Committee's consensus to give this to the resident with respect to the site line. <br />COMMITTEE INPUT <br />1. Accident on Intersection of Sunwood and Ramsey Boulevard <br />Public Works Director Olson updated the Committee on the recent accident at the intersection of <br />Sunwood and Ramsey Boulevard. <br />Chairperson Elvig requested a workshop on the timing of several of the stop lights within the <br />City. <br />Mayor Ramsey suggested flashing light at night at intersections. <br />It was the Committee's consensus to bring the timing of street lights and flashing lights for <br />discussion at a worksession and invite the County for their input. <br />2. Sunwood Drive and Bunker Lake Blvd Striping <br />Chairperson Elvig expressed concern about not having sufficient street striping at this <br />intersection. Public Works Director Olson explained this was an angle problem and he did not <br />know what to do to fix the problem. <br />3.
