Employer contribution to family coverage <br />increases from $428 per month to $500 per month, effective January 1, 2002, with a re- <br />opener for Health Insurance only in 2003. <br />Inclusion of the following language in 8.1 of AFSCME contract, to state: "In the event that <br />work is required because of unusual circumstances such as (but not limited to) fire, flood, <br />snow, sleet, or breakdown of municipal equipment or facilities, no advance notice need be <br />given." <br />After 16 years of service, a qualifying employee shall receive one additional day of vacation <br />each year in excess of 16 years of service. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec, seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen, to recommend that the City <br />Council approve the 2002-2003 labor contract with AFSCME Local #2454. <br /> <br />Motion carded.
