Feasibility Report <br />Bunker Lake Boulevard Extension <br />City of Ramsey <br />These cost estimates are based on public construction cost information and are an opinion for <br />general information and project financial planning. Actual costs for project financing should be <br />based upon competitive bid pricing with reasonable contingencies. <br />VI. APPROVALS/PERMITS <br />Permits are required from various agencies for the construction of this project. The following <br />permits will be applied for and secured prior to construction: <br />■ Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) NPDES Storm Water Permit <br />■ Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) Sanitary Sewer Extension Permit <br />■ Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) Permits for Watermain Extension and <br />Dewatering <br />■ Anoka County Work in ROW Permit <br />■ Lower Rum River Watershed Management Organization Permit <br />VII. PROJECT SCHEDULE <br />Identified below is a possible schedule for proceeding with the proposed improvements. <br />• November 9, 2010 — City Council Receives and Accepts Feasibility Report <br />• December 14, 2010 — Hearing on Proposed Improvements <br />• December 28, 2010 — Council authorizes project and preparation of plans and <br />specifications <br />• January 2011 — March 2011 - Final Design and Review Period <br />• April 2011— Council Approve Plans and Specifications/Authorize Advertisement for Bids <br />• April 2011 - Advertise for Bids <br />• May 2011 - Bid Opening <br />• June 2011 - Consider Bids and Award Construction Contract <br />• June 2011 through October 2011- Construction Period (Bituminous wear course in 2012) <br />VIII. EVALUATION AND RECOMMENDATION <br />From an engineering standpoint, this project is necessary, cost effective and feasible and can best <br />be accomplished by letting competitive bids for the work.
