8.6 Signage on both sides of the bottom section of the aerial <br /> platform shall be provided with 3M Scotch Lite reflective <br /> lettering. Signage shall be in 8" high letters that say "Ramsey <br /> Fire Rescue" <br />8.7 Aerial Platform if not aluminum Shall"be painted white. If <br /> aluminum, a swirled surface will be provided. <br />8.8 All valves and permanently affixed nozzles shall be painted at <br /> factory to match the apparatus colors. <br />9.0 CERTIFICATION AND TESTING YES NO <br />9.1 Completed apparatus with aerial device shall be tested and <br /> certified as required by NFPA 1901 and 1914. Certification <br /> documents shall be provided with the completed apparatus. <br /> The aerial waterway shall be certified for 1500 gpm. · <br />9.2 The roadability tests, per NFPA, will be conducted at point of <br /> delivery before acceptance. <br />10.0 SOLE SOURCE DESIGN, MANUFACTURING & YES NO <br /> WARRENTY <br />10.1 To provide for the highest level of apparatus stability and <br /> strength and to protect the purchaser from divided warrant <br /> responsibility, proposals will only be considered from <br /> apparatus builders who: design, fabricate, and assemble the <br /> complete apparatus. This shall include the cab shell, chassis <br /> assemble, aerial device, torque box, stabilizer jack system <br /> and complete body structure. <br />11.0 EQUIPMENT YES NO <br />11.1 In addition to the equipment already listed, the following <br /> equipment shall be provided mounted on the apparatus in a <br /> location to be determined; <br /> (4) wheel chocks <br /> (2) pick head axes <br /> (2) Stream-lite Lite boxes <br /> (1) Dry Chemical fire extinguisher size 20:A, 120:BC <br /> (1) 2.51b water.extinguisher <br />11.2 In addition to the equipment previously listed, the following <br /> items shall be provided as itemized bids. <br /> ITEM <br />11.2.1 Motorola HT1000 portable radio with external speaker/mic <br /> with charger.
