Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: -92- RESOLTUION #02-05-XXX RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE CHANGE ORDER NO 3 TO FOREST LAKE CONTRACTING FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #99-51, t53rd AVENUE N~¥/155TM AVENUE N.W. EXTENSION WHEREAS, on August 8, 2000, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #00-08- 191 authorizing plans and specifications and advertisement for bids on Improvement Project #99-51; and WHEREAS, on November 14, 2000, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #00- 11-292 awarding the bid for Improvement Project #99-5 t, 153rd/155th Avenue NW Extension to Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. in the amount of $716,399.48; and WHEREAS, the City desires to improve the project by adding right turn lanes at the intersection of Alpine and Variolite Street and Alpine and Armstrong Boulevard; and, WHEREAS, on March 26, 2002, the City Council ratified the recommendation to prepare a change order for the additional work. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes Changer Order No 3 to Forest Lake Contracting for Improvement Project 99-5 i, Alpine Drive construction in the amount of $56,084.35. 2) That the City Council authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the form for this change order. 3) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided with a signed copy of this resolution.
