-82- Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #02-04- RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE CHANGE ORDER NO.1 TO LATOUR CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #99-52 (SUNWOOD DRIVE N.W. STREET AND UTILITY CONSTRUCTION) WHEREAS, on December 11, 2001, the Ramsey City Council approved Resolution #01- 12-431 approving the plans and specifications for the above reference work; and WHEREAS, on February 26} 2002, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #02- 02,070 awarding the bid for Improvement Project #99-52, Sunwood Drive N.W. Street and Utility Construction project to LaTour Construction, Inc. in the amount of $769,415.83; and WHEREAS, the Anoka CoUnty Highway Department has indicated a need to increase the effectiveness of the intersection of County Road 116 and Sunwood Drive NW with the addition of this section of Sunwood Drive NW; and WHEREAS, on March 26, 2002, the City Council ratified the decision of the Public Works Committee to prepare a Change Order for the additional work within the County right of way; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes Change Order No. 1 to LaTour Construction, Inc. for Improvement Project #99-52, Sunwood Drive N.W. Street and Utility Construction project in the amount of $60,062.50 on April 23, 2002. 2) That the City Council authorizes the Mayor or City AdminiStrator to sign the form for this Change Order. 3) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution.
