-136- <br /> <br /> Citizen Input <br /> <br />There was none.. <br /> <br />Motion to by Councilmember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen, to close the <br />public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Kurak, Hendriksen, Anderson, <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />The public hearing closed at 9:03 p.m. <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman inquired if the City paid for the easement. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik replied that the City probably received the easement as <br />part of the platting process for Northfork Links. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich inquired as to who drafted the easement document. <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski replied that City Attorney Goodrich drafted the document. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich replied that the City probably paid for the easement. <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman inquired if there was any reason why they would need the road in a <br />different location. <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski replied that the easement has been in place since 1986. <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman inquired if the Council needed to take action tonight. <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski replied no. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen inquired as to why the issue was brought forward. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik explained that the golf course is under new ownership <br />and they are trying to clear up some of the issues on the property. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen stated that the easement is in the area where Highway #10 goes back <br />to the railroad tracks.
