I've been <br />a resident in Ramsey for five (5) years now. In that time, I served on the Comprehensive Plan <br />Focus Group task force, remained active in the discussions as the Comp Plan moved forward <br />towards acceptance, and have expressed concerns from time to time when amendments have <br />been proposed to the Plan. <br /> <br />Prior to moving to Ramsey, 1 was a resident of BUrnsville and closely watched as the southern <br />tier suburbs (i.e. Eagan, Apple Valley, Lakeville, etc.) underwent their massive growth <br />explosions and how they dealt with the issues they raised. I feel that these insights would <br />greatly assist me in serving my community through the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />I am employed as a Principal Software Engineer at a local privately held company in Maple <br />Grove, and have been employed in the Software field for 18 years. During that time ! spent a <br />large amount of time working on proposals and development contracts for the Department of <br />Defense and worked on products requiring Food and Drug Administration and Federal Aviation <br />Administration approval, all of which has educated my as to the inner workings of our <br />governments bureaucracy. My engineering background provides me with the training to <br />examine issues logically and explore all avenues before arriving to a conclusion.
