Since then we have been working on the project in preparation for construction. This included a gading easement landscaping and a water~looping project with US Homes, slier modifications of our building amenities to make it more attractive to prospective residences, and some initial marketing. Sunday, September 8th, we had a celebration in our church to kickoff the fall church year. As part o£that celebration we had a marketing information table for Life Village. We were very satisfied with the reception and several members indicated a strong desire to live in such a facility. More importantly several of our younger members asked about the project as a potential residence for their parents. Based on the initial marketing response, we are confident that the project will be successful and thus we are asking for a one-year extension on your approval. During the coming years we will continue to keep the city and our neighbors intbrmed on the progress of Life Village. We look forward to your continued support for this important community project and the on-going development of the Lord of Life campus.
